What Happens If My Green Card Gets Denied?
If your green card application is denied, you can appeal the decision or refile your application:
Appeal
You can file Form I-290B with USCIS to appeal the decision.
You must file within 30 days of receiving the decision or 33 days if you received it by mail.
The filing fee is $675. You can appeal to the Administrative Appeals Office (AAO) or file a motion to reopen or reconsider your case.
Refile
You can refile your application, starting over from scratch.
You can use this opportunity to rebuild your case and get professional immigration help from Zafar Khan Law.
You can also apply for a work card and travel document again.
